Vitamin E, protects unsaturated fatty acids in the body, prevents cell damage, and stabilizes cell membranes, among other things. Vitamin E (tocopherol) belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins and is only produced by plants. Good sources of vitamin E are nuts and seeds such as wheat germ, sunflower seeds, linseeds, hazelnuts and almonds and vegetable oils and spreads made from them.
